Here Waiting

Win my trust by asking my father’s permission to take me out on a date, if he says no politely tell him you will do it anyway to prove you’re worthy of my time. Let’s go for a walk together and talk about our day and our families. Let’s go stargazing and listen to our favorite music together. When my illness is being complicated, and we can’t go out let’s chill at home with everyone and watch a movie. When we get mad let’s duke it out if we have to but lets in the end work it out. Let’s take my little cousin to the zoo with us and hey yours can come too. When things get tough don’t hide, when I’m a pain in the ass, I know I am, let’s be the REAL deal that never gives up no matter what. And when we’re ready to take it to the next level ask for my hand in marriage but not that BS fairy tale crap, the real thing where we will fight and argue and cry and scream, smile and laugh, love and care no matter what.
