What’s New?

Hello and welcome back or welcome if you’re new! Before we dive into today’s post, I want to take a few minutes to talk about last week’s post (World Domination but for the Better’s long-awaited Part Two!) and just give a general life update? But first Payton’s point of view!

Oh my gosh! I cannot believe that it took four years to get that post done and up! I honestly love the direction that this story is going! But I am partially biased as I am the writer (I think that’s how that works lol). But genuinely what are your thoughts on it so far? How do you think their story will unfold? I want to hear all your thoughts in the comments below!

As for the life update? Well, this month has been quite wild, I haven’t been as active on social media as I was in January because my Port malfunctioned at the end of January, and they got us in for a surgery literally so quickly in the beginning of February, which left barely any time to process but I was and am grateful for it. Then on Valentines Day I ended up going out with my brother and his friends to Pop-Punk Night. Which was AMAZING! I had a lot of fun. And I’ve been chilling with my younger cousins again on a regular basis.

Honestly, I’ve been actively trying to live in the moment and focus on the now but in that I’ve learned that as much as I preach to myself that “self-love and acceptance despite the illness” and “my feelings are valid, and my mental health is important” I still managed to suppress the most important part of my life. I somehow manage to deny the thing that consumes my life. Rather than learning to coexist with it, give IT the grace that I give my mental health. Which was yet another harsh realization to be had this year. I believe that’s realization number two. At least of the big ones…

#1 My body is father behind than a child’s… as in I struggle to make it through a five-minute beginner’s yoga video. Yep. That’s how set back my body is at the moment.

#2 I never really accepted my health or learned to coexist with it/give it grace. Despite going on 10+ years with it. Which… oof. That’s brutal for miss acceptance to admit.

It’s okay though. My mind was trying to survive something while my body was fighting for its existence. It’s never been easy and truthfully it feels like it’s getting harder as more problems present. Though now I have a slightly different outlook and “plan” so to speak. But that’s for me to figure out in private for now.

Now that the life update is completed let’s get into the goals and plans for Stormy Ville as things have slightly changed from my original set up for this year. But that’s okay, we can be flexible.

The overall goal for this year has been to stay consistent and grow my audience. I was still trying to nail down a schedule that would work perfectly for me (brain fog, doctors and life in general). Still mainly focusing on the creative writing which tends to take a bit longer to craft a worthwhile story. So, in order to keep with consistency, I am going to stick with the post schedule for each of the series we have going at the moment.

  • The Road to Redemption – first Wednesday 11:11 PM/AM
  • World Domination (but for the better) – third Wednesday 11:11 PM/AM
  • The King’s Pawn – April, July

With the odd post’s here and there if I have them. As well as vlogs and monthly recaps on my socials. The plans are rather simple at the moment I just want to have a community of likeminded people. To share our stories and hell maybe even have some guest posts on this site? I want to be an author and I’m still working on my first novel, but I’ve always loved writing and sharing about life. Whether it’s making a story up about mythical creatures or talking about my actual life. I just love to write, and I want to share that passion with others.

SO, to recap, goals?

  1. Grow and stay consistent.

Plans?

  1. Keep doing what I’m doing.
  1. Stick to two posts a month, occasionally more if there’s another story to be shared!

Simple. That’s what I’m going for. We’ll reassess the plans probably in April or July when the final part of The King’s Pawn comes out. But I really do hope you liked the post and seriously let me know your thoughts about Payton’s POV in the comments! And I hope you have a great day or night whenever you read this!

And as always until next time – stay safe, love hard and protect your peace < 3

XOXO Hails
