Welcome back to day eight of the challenge. I’m honestly not sure how I feel about today’s prompt/question? I’m excited but also I don’t really know? It’s pretty basic I suppose. I could totally just rip off Taylor Swift’s lyrics for it and just say my advice is to always ruin the friendship. But I’m not going to because that’s her advice not mine. Though I do agree. I wish that song would have come out three years ago if I’m being honest. But that’s not the point.
Today’s prompt: My advice to someone my age.
To savor your health. Be grateful for even the most simple things. Or the things that are pesky and annoying like a job or driving. Eating a meal you love without your tummy hurting. Going out with your friends. Showering and washing your hair without having to rush out because you’re close to passing out. It’s the little things, they mean more than you think. You don’t have to think twice about getting ready to go somewhere. It’s important you know? You don’t really know how important those things are until they’re gone. So treasure them. Bask in the fact you can brush your teeth without having to lay down after. It’s really something. Take everything for what it is.
