Prompt of today: What is something controversial going on in the world today?
Well this is a heavy one. There’s so many controversial things going on in the world, everywhere you turn it seems like every topic is a landmine. Obviously this isn’t something I typically do very often because I’ve always wanted for my blog to be a safe space and for any discussions if there are ever any in the comments to be productive and not harmful. But I also think part of my whole blogs identity has always been finding myself and my beliefs and in that comes discussing some of the more “controversial” things. So since I picked this plan and wrote it all down and took note of what day fourteen was I kind of knew what I wanted to talk about. Which it does kind of tie back to my roots as a blogger but also just me as a person.
Human rights in general seem to be controversial. Women’s rights and Trans rights. But Human rights as a whole seem to be controversial at least from what I’ve seen and don’t get me wrong I’m just now learning a little more about politics and trying to piece together where I stand with religion and how things are run. But it just reads that we forgot that everyone bleeds red. Everyone dies. And we should probably remember that? Maybe take a deeper look at how history is repeating to prevent certain things. But again this is just coming from someone who admittedly still has a lot of learning left to do. But that’s just my take on this particular one.
