Top ten travel destinations (2021 Repost)

Okay so I’m sure you all can tell by the title that today we’re going to be talking about travel destinations. Specifically, my dream locations and bucket list visit places. Shall we?

Top ten travel destinations:

1)        Point pleasant West Virginia

Home to the immensely popular Cryptid Mothman. Point Pleasant is about two hours from where my typical vacation spot is. I have a slight interest in cryptids and if you are not sure what a cryptid is. The gist of what it is according to the oxford dictionary. “An animal whose existence or survival to the present day is disputed or unsubstantiated; any animal of interest to a cryptozoologist.”

2)       Canada anywhere in Canada really

I don’t have anywhere specific in Canada. I just really want to go to Canada for some reason.

3)        Hawaii

Who doesn’t want to go to Hawaii?

4)       Salem Oregon

Salem fascinates me honestly, I say Oregon, but I really mean Salem of – well I just looked it up and there are 36 places named Salem, but I think you all get the point.

5)        India

Well for India it’s a bit of the culture and a bit of the nature and a lot of I read a book that was based on an Indian prince breaking a curse and they traveled all through India and well ever since I’ve been really intrigued. Plus I’ve made a few online friends from there that only drew more interest to the culture because we talked about it a lot.

6)       England, London to be more specific.

Curiosity gets the better of me with this one. I have no interest in big cities other than what the big idea? Why do people like it so?

7)        Africa

Much like India, Africa’s culture draws me. We had one missionary come to our church in our eight years being there that was to Africa. Of course, there’s also the wildlife, some of which struggle to exist. It’s just a place I’d love to see.

8)       Alaska

I have no reason for Alaska either. Just that I want to go, and I think it would be an awesome adventure.

9)       Austin Texas

This one has a very stupid and specific reason. A song. Austin Alone by Billy Burke.

10)   Maine

Anywhere in Maine. If I had to up and leave Florida tonight for forever, I would choose to move to Maine. It’s the state that speaks to my heart the most. I’ve been there twice, both times almost a decade ago. Though I’ve been to Kentucky and West Virginia (states I’ve spent time in) Maine draws me.

Also I’m so sorry for not getting an actual more present day post out, I have a story for The Obsidian Forrest that was going to be out today but some things came up and I didn’t fully have time to make sure the post was Forrest ready. So I opted for a more simplistic option that while a little out dated, much like its secondary part, Travel Destinations Part two. I want to bring back more of me to Stormy Ville. Don’t worry there will be a third part of the travel destination ‘series’ so that we can catch up with present day Hails and see where she’s been? I say that like I’ve been anywhere. 

But I’ll post the second part soon and then update with a third top ten, then at some point I’ll give you guys a list of places I’ve been and I have another idea of a series I’ve been toying with but I’m not sure and that’s not a topic for today anyways.
