Reading List for Spring?

HI! Okay, so today’s post is going to be short and sweet. But I wanted to update you all and tell you that I finished that book I was reading! Wilder Girls by Rory Power. This isn’t a review at all, I’m not going to do that. My brain capacity isn’t built for that but I loved the book so much, I will say I wasn’t expecting the ending to be what it was. But you have to go read it yourself. Like I said not a review I’m just putting my thoughts down. I finished it on the fifth. And I had a thought after I finished it. I was like, oh! Why don’t I give myself a little challenge. Now, I know I’m a slow reader. I probably would have finished that book sooner had I not been mid break up when I checked it out. But that’s not the point. I was thinking. 

“I have three books on my nightstand right now.” 

That’s what I was thinking now I have so many more books than three but three on my nightstand, so I figured maybe I would post my list and give a little challenge for myself. A reasonable one. It might seem like overkill time wise for others but I don’t mind being an odd one out considering I also read my own work a million times over every time I write. If I share what I’m reading maybe we have similar tastes? I don’t know. Some of it is I’m also just trying to break up my Archive posts while I work on more posts for The Obsidian Forrest seeing as those take a bit longer. Plus, this is Stormy Ville. It’s meant to be all over the place. Give ya variety. Something for everyone. 

Okay, enough rambling. 

Here are my three books that I want to read before Stormy Ville’s anniversary which is August the 13th. I think that’s reasonable. Especially considering doctors, and other things and ESPECIALLY considering one of the books is a Novella. So… yeah. I should be good. Then when I finish each one I’ll come tell you about it. Well, I guess that is a review in a way? I’ll just drop my little thought bubbles about it. How I felt about it.

• Carmilla. 
• The Assassin’s Blade
• The Last Will of Moira Leahy

I won’t be reading them in that order necessarily. Also I think The Assassin’s Blade is a series? I have to look more into that. These books were literally picked because they’re on my nightstand. So it’s completely random. Except Carmilla. I’m reading that because I need to know more about it for research purposes. That’s a long story.
