The colors we feel.

Today’s post is another trusty Pinterest inspiration. I found a self care journal prompt question list of colors related to emotions and feelings and I thought that it would actually be a really great post. Not only because it’s right up Stormy Ville’s alley so to speak but because I wanted to know the answers. So I’ll link the questions and I’m going to do a few today. There are 130 questions so this will likely be a mini series. Anyway let’s get into it!

1. Which color feels like hope to you?
Personally the first color that comes to mind when I think of hope is pink. Bright pink. The brightest shade of pink you can find is the beacon of hope to me.
2. If friendship had a color which would you choose?
This one is harder for me. But every friendship I’ve had has been a different shade of the rainbow but when I think of the purest state of friendship I think – white. Purity. The true definition of pure. That childlike innocence of never believing that your friend will leave town or always dreaming of being their bridesmaid and raising your kids together? Playing house together and roasting marshmallows and being kids. That’s the color of friendship. White. Unblemished and pure. With all your heart.
3. What color comes to mind when you think of me?
Well, Hailstorm the color that comes to mind when I think of you is Emerald Green. It feels royal yet blends to the forest. It’s inviting but cloaks those who need it. It feels like home and it’s bold. Emerald Green is your color.
4. What color feels like peace to you right now?
Deep red/maroon. I’ve always loved red it pairs well with black and I know black is a shade so technically I can’t say that’s what feels like peace but deep red/maroon has always calmed me. It swallows the darkness in my soul and warms my heart. A way to bleed without bleeding.
