Coming up!

Hello and welcome or welcome back to another stormy night in the shire! I hope you’re all feeling okay, and if you aren’t I hope you know it’s alright to be a mess. Feelings are messy and humans have feelings- argo, humans are messy. Anyway, today is the last day of the month! So, we’re going to do an end of month post – day of! How exciting! Though today’s end of month post will be more focused on discussing the plans for August and we’ll do a follow up for the July recap on Monday. 

Okay, with the intro done, let’s get started. 

First of all, we have a very important day coming up in August! If you’ve been here a while, you know what I’m about to say next. But Stormy Ville slash thechronicalesofhails.com turns six. Technically the site title of Stormy Ville turned three back in February of this year. But it’s easier to say happy birthday Stormy Ville than happy birthday thechronicalesofhails.com! Lol.

Anyway, I wanted to truly thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. I love writing and honestly just sharing it with people who also enjoy it is such a pleasure! It means so much that you all have been with me on this journey and continue to stay with me as I grow and evolve into the writer I wish to be. Which is why I want to run a bit of a special event for the week of the anniversary! I’ll be posting nothing but chapters for The Road to Redemption series. For right now, I know for sure I’ll be posting the scheduled three days, but I’m working on something along the lines of…A six chapter special for six years. To be run the whole week. 

I know that’s a stretch especially with my personal schedule… but I’m really contemplating it. I’m also thinking about making the origins of the story, as in the very original depths of when it was Connor and Haevyn, and Sealy was still in it because of my book available to subscribers only. But you have to let me know if that’s something you guys would be interested in? I think that covers the anniversary special. Either way, I am making the “Appalachian Romance” four parts available to subscribers. So that anyone who is curious how the original “girl next door” idea flowed into place. Or what the first four parts were like, you’ll be able to see it. 

As for everything else in August, we’re going to continue as is. With the posts on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. At seven pm eastern standard time, unless of course you guys would rather a different time? I used to post at 11:11 and I wasn’t sure if those posts did any good or not, so I went back to the October Power Hour time of 7PM but I am always open to suggestions. 

Another thing, I will be starting a short series on my social media where I tour through my collection of beanie babies. I’m genuinely trying to build a bigger community in general around the things I find interesting and am passionate about, for example, did you know that penpal groups still exist?!? I didn’t and I was so excited when I found out! Maybe I’ve been living under a rock because of my health but oh my gosh! I’ve already sent out five letters and I cannot wait to keep writing!

I genuinely love writing and sharing my life on this site. I love building this little community and sharing my stories and my passion. I love reading other people’s writings and hearing their stories. It makes me so happy and sometimes it’s nice to be able to sink into the slower moments and remember what we have to be grateful for. For me this is my pride and joy and to see it growing like a little tree. It makes me so proud. I love to share that with people. So I can’t wait to keep growing and to see where life takes us. I’m so thankful to all of you, I can’t say that enough. 

I know this post was a little rambly and not as well put together but I hope the general consensus comes off. But overall the plan is to keep going the way we have been.
